I’m Hassan Johnson, a Nigerian singer and songwriter making music as Hazzy Jo. I’ve been making music since 2019 and write my own lyrics. I’m currently based in Kenya, bringing together my Nigerian roots, my experiences and a growing interest in making music that can travel across borders. I’ve independently released two EPs and two singles so far. You’re listening to “On The Road,” and I’m currently working on new music and preparing my next releases. I’m looking to build the right team around the music and grow Hazzy Jo into a stronger African artist with an international audience.
