NERSI RECORDS is the label arm of NERSI RADIO — born in 2024 out of a simple frustration: too many brilliant African artists were building careers 12 time zones away from the industry that's supposed to serve them. So we built a home.
A home for Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro-Fusion, Hip-Hop and Dancehall artists who are ready to move borders. We handle distribution to 150+ DSPs, on-air rotation on our 24/7 station, editorial pitching, AI-powered Sora clips for TikTok, and campaign design tuned for the algorithm era.
What we don't do: take your masters. What we'll never do: dilute the sound that got you here. You keep ownership. We share the upside. That's the deal — and it's the only reason we're here.
Africa-first · Artist-owned · Algorithm-ready.
We sign artists born on the continent and its diaspora, then ship them everywhere Spotify, Apple Music and TikTok exist.
You keep your masters. We share the upside on distribution and promotion — never the copyright.
Every signing gets AI Sora clips, TikTok-ready shorts, editorial pitching, and NERSI RADIO on-air rotation baked in.
The moment your record clears QC, it lands on NERSI LIVE ROTATION — global reach without the gatekeepers.
LTO KING
The most-streamed release on NERSI RADIO this week. Rotates automatically every 7 days based on real trending data — no editorial gatekeeping.
Every artist on NERSI is a NERSI STAR We celebrate every artist who trusts NERSI RADIO with their music. Each year we award three of them — streams, virality, on-air play — from real numbers across the DSP catalogue, fan reels, and the on-air rotation. The yearly ceremony is hosted by the NERSI team.

NERSI RECORDSJahonze — Artist Biography Jahonze is an award-winning recording artist and songwriter, known for his ability to turn raw emotion into words that move people. Born in Esan North East, Edo State, Nigeria, Jahonze discovered his passion for music early in life, carrying it with him through his education and eventually across borders. In 2014 he relocated to Italy, where his love for music and culture inspired him to release his debut single "More Life Man Liveth" in 2015, produced by Flavio in Teramo, Italy. What followed was a steady rise through the independent music scene, with collaborations and features that earned him a place on Billboard chart compilations — first with "Omoye," then with "Light Up Nigeria," both featured on international compilation releases. In 2019, Jahonze released his debut album "Control My Song," a 10-track project distributed across major digital streaming platforms. His momentum continued with his second album "Reality Check," further cementing his voice in the Afrobeats and inspirational music space. His achievements include winning Best Inspirational Song in Italy at the Naija Gbedu Awards and a Recognition Award as a Nigerian Artist in the Diaspora. He is also a proud member of PMAN (Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria). Now signed to NERSI RECORDS, Jahonze brings his latest single "Happy Birthday" alongside his two acclaimed albums "Control My Song" and "Reality Check" to a growing global audience.
