DJ Marouf is a French DJ and producer who has been active since the 1980s. He began his career in the Paris region, playing at clubs including Le Neptune, New Look, Alizé Club, Le Nelson and Atlantis, where he built extensive experience on the dancefloor. In 2002, he founded Future Mix studio in Vitry-sur-Seine, initially as a creative space for DJs and later as a professional recording studio. Over the years, Future Mix welcomed artists from the rap, ragga and Afro-Caribbean scenes, including Shurik’n of IAM, Driver, Kaaris, FLYA and Majesty. Today, DJ Marouf is developing a new artistic project inspired by African and Afro-diasporic sounds, combining his decades of DJ experience with contemporary rhythms. His current releases include “Nu Feck Nu Neex”, “Tracy” and “Yaka Kobina”.
